Oregano Essential Oil

Oregano, Origanum vulgare is a flowering plant that is native to temperate Western, Southwestern Eurasia and the Mediterranean region. It belongs to the mint family (Lamiaceae).

It is an enduring herb and it grows to about 20 – 80 cm tall. It’s leaves are opposite and 1 – 4 cm in length. The flowers are produced in erect spikes and are purple colored, measuring 3 – 4 mm long.
